Fur Baby Policy

We understand that your pet is a valuable part of the family and sometimes a vacation just wouldn't be the same without a wagging tail tagging along which is why the Anchor Inn Beachfront Motel has allocated two specific garden view rooms as pet friendly.  

Pets are ONLY allowed in selected pet-friendly rooms and these can ONLY be booked on request to the motel directly. Please don’t book a room online and expect your pet to be allowed to stay as this would make for a very awkward situation for everyone.

Some simple rules:

• Pets are not allowed on the furniture within the rooms or be given baths or showers using the Anchor Inn Beachfront Motel facilities.
• Pets must remain on a leash at all times when outside the room. Your pet must not be on the property without being on leash; no exceptions.
• Clean up all messes straight away. Please make sure to clean up after your pet straight away and dispose of it responsibly.
• If your pet gets wet outside please have your own towels with you to dry them before they enter the room. The motel does have some “pet only” towels should you need them.
• Well behaved pets only. Excessive barking, or any aggression towards other pets / people is not permitted on the property and you may be asked to leave.
• Pets must be older than 12 months and house-trained.
• If your room requires a deeper clean due to pet mess or excessive smells we will charge an additional $50 for the extra cleaning required.
• If you pet causes any damage to the Anchor Inn Beachfront Motel facilities / property, there may be a charge added to your bill to cover any repairs. If something does happen, please talk to us, we understand, we have pets as well and will always work with you where possible.
