About Anchor Inn

The Anchor Inn is superbly located on the Kaikoura waterfront, within close proximity to the town centre and some of Kaikoura's best restaurants.

For 3 consecutive years  (2001, 2002 & 2003) the Anchor Inn was judged "best motel" at the prestigous New Zealand Tourism Awards. We have also won a Distinction Award as well as the inaugural Qualmark Mark of Quality Award. These awards celebrate excellence and recognise the very best in the New Zealand tourism industry.

The Anchor Inn is rated "4 star plus" by Qualmark, which is New Zealand tourism's official quality agency. This rating is officially described as "Excellent. Consistently achieves high quality levels." 

In 2011 we were also awarded with a TripAdvisor "Certificate of Excellence" for consistently receiving excellent ratings from it's members.
